Finn Harrison, a nine-year-old camper who has remained unclaimed for years has spent a long time at Camp Half-Blood trying to find answers about his parent.

When a boy named Percy Jackson arrives and is claimed by Poseidon, Finn feels the sting of jealousy yet again. But when a dangerous quest arises to retrieve Zeus's stolen Master Bolt, Chiron asks Percy to bring Finn along for an unknown reason.

As they go about their journey, Finn discovers strange powers that may or may not be tied to the stars and his godly parent and begins to suspect his origin may be a little more complicated than he originally thought.

Between battling monsters, solving riddles, and facing his deepest insecurities, Finn must rise to the challenge, proving to himself and others that being unclaimed doesn't make him unworthy.

But as secrets unravel and betrayals surface, Finn realizes the truth about his past could change a lot of things. He's in for one heck of a ride.

And he's not sure he has enough snacks for it.
