In the mystical land of Mayika, power lies in the hands of the priesthood, descendants of Hakun. When Leora, the 10th priestess, receives a prophetic warning from an old woman she refuses to help, she exiles one of his twin daughters, fearing she holds a dangerous power. Eighteen years later, Eleanor, the next in line to become the priestess, unexpectedly reunites with her long-lost twin, Helena, who seeks answers about her magical abilities. Though initially enemies, the sisters grow closer as they help one another in unexpected ways. However, when Leora discovers Helena's return, she named her as the "dark priestess" and makes her a symbol of fear and hatred.
