- Act 1: A Demigod's Destiny (ONGOING) Meet Thaddeus Bartholomew-Mage, full-time disaster magnet, and the guy who somehow always ends up knee-deep in total nonsense. Rumors swirl about his mysterious lineage, but he's too busy dodging monsters, ancient prophecies, and his own terrible decisions to care. Thaddeus is the unwilling hero of this story-if "hero" means accidentally setting things on fire, tripping over ancient relics, and surviving the chaos he causes. Magic? Monsters? A world that seems to hate him? No big deal. He's just trying to live his life, enjoy his coffee, and figure out why he keeps getting dragged into world-ending shenanigans. With a knack for finding trouble (or trouble finding him), Thaddeus stumbles through perilous adventures fueled by dumb luck and sheer stubbornness. Whether he's battling eldritch horrors, outrunning death eaters, or just trying to keep his sanity intact, one thing's clear: Thaddeus is not having a good time. At least he's got a sense of humor about it. Probably. "Thaddeus Bartholomew: Aetherion Scion"-because surviving the supernatural is hard, but surviving yourself? That's the real challenge. Sixteen-year-old Cassiopeia Monroe just wants a full night's sleep. But that's hard to do when every time she closes her eyes, she's running through a void filled with whispering shadows and cruel laughter. The dreams feel too real, and lately... they've been following her into daylight. Between the blackouts, the strange bursts of energy, and the stars that sometimes flicker under her skin, Cass is starting to think she's either going crazy-or something much worse. Then, during a school trip to the local museum, things start unraveling. One moment she's staring at ancient relics, and the next a teacher from a different school is transforming into a monster with fangs, claws, and eyes that seem to recognize her claiming her to be a danger and threat. When a guy with sea green eyes is attacked, a man in a wheelchair hands him a ballpoint pen-a freaking ball point because obviously, that's helpful-and the pen promptly turns into a glowing sword and just stare at her with mouth hung open confused as to what she was doing there or how she was seeing whatever was going on. Cass doesn't have time to process. She grabs a broken chair, turns it into a makeshift wooden dagger, and does the only thing she can-fight back. Somehow, she survives. The creature turns to ash, the air hums with power. As she leaves the museum, the man in the wheelchair and another with crutches watch her go-eyes filled with something between awe, fascination, and fear. Cass has no idea why. She just wants to go home, hug her dad, and maybe-just maybe-get through one night without dreaming of the void. But destiny doesn't wait for anyone-especially not for the daughter of.....
