Minato Namikaze finds himself in the familiar forest surrounding his village. The Kyuubi attack still fresh in his memory he makes way to the village to find what became of his child - only to find that the village he nearly died protecting was not the same one that he returned to. Now the former war hero and hokage is left with the task of navigating his life with nothing but his daughter to protect him from the unbearable pain of everything and everyone who he lost along the way.
Naruto Uzumaki has been an orphan for as long as she can remember. Shunned by society and hated for an act she had no memory of, she gets by each day with nothing but sheer determination and willpower. Her life takes a sudden turn when she meets a man who looks eerily like her and soon after meets a few of the famed Uchiha clan. She takes it upon herself to break through the icy front the Uchiha's are known for and make friends, but unbeknownst to each of her Uchiha "friends" may be looking for something more...
