Her Father passed away when she was 5 and her Mother was her whole world and her biggest supporter when it comes to competitive chess. Her Mother is her role model and dream to be just like her. James Clark, an aggressive, arrogant 18 year old boy with an chess rating over 2450,  he's been her rival for many years. They went to the same elementary, middle and high school and he's already the state champion with  lots of sponsorships.  They compete in the same chess tournaments for many years and they always hated each other (well, not hate) is more like dislike. Will Emery follow her mother's dream?
