Lizzie had an almost perfect life-great parents, a cute and loving boyfriend, her beauty, and lived in Hawaii-and had the perfect future ahead. The only thing holding her back? Her insecurities and low self-esteem. 

Lea was a caring soul, always thinking of others instead of herself. But, she was struggling with her parents divorce.

Summer was a writer standing in the shadow of her older sister, Maia, an aspiring obstetrician. Since their mother passed away seven years ago; Summer and Maia often shared the role of the "mom" of their little sister, Hazel. On top of all that, she wanted to be more than best friends with Connor, but too scared to tell him. 

N was the new girl at Johnson High who had purple and blue hair. As an anorexic and dyslexic, things seemed to be pretty rough for her. But when she finds out she was adopted, her world comes crashing down. Now battling depression and the struggles of high school, she makes new friends that seem to be the only thing to keep her going.
