Sofia Flores Gonzales is a 21 yr old Mexican women. She's just looking for a new start, so she goes to Chicago. What better way to start than get a job? When she bumps into her new boss, he suddenly starts hating her or so she thinks. she doesn't really like him either. He's just another cold hearted man with no emotions, and no care in the world except daddy's money. As she starts having to work with him a lot, she discovers that he isn't what she thought he was. She starts to get to know him. The real him. she suddenly finds herself liking him maybe even falling for him? and that only scares her. Sofia is a girl with a hard-past, and a bad mental health, she hides it well though. it's scary what can hide behind a smile. as her walls go down she tries to build new ones. Can he break them all and keep them down? Can they help each other heal?

Dante Moretti is a 25 yr old Italian Man. he's the owner of Moretti Enterprises, and the leader of the Italian Mafia both handed down from his father. He had a hard childhood, harder than a lot of people. His dad molded and shaped him into what he though was going to be a killer machine and an unstoppable man in the mafia world. While that may be true Dante hates his father for what he put him through. Dante has pretty bad PTSD because of this. After he bumped into Sofia you couldn't stop thinking about her. Her gorgeous smile, her heavenly laugh, her big brown eyes he couldn't get her out of his head. Being the bardars he is he tries and makes himself hate her, but is he trying to convince her or himself. He doesn't trust anyone, never has never will with the exception of Angela his little sister and his mother. He finds himself trusting her more and more and that scares him shitless. Can he learn to trust fully again at least another person?
Can Sofia and Dante learn how to read in between the lines? See that both of them are hurting really bad? That they maybe even need each other?
