Meryl, 30, has been now three years miles away from her hometown - Sylverbridge - working as an emergency doctor. One day, she is announced her brother's death through phone call and it made a wreck of her. Back home for the funeral, she dove back to the shared memories with her brother, filled with regret and nostalgia.
Days after the burial, she now has to go back to her previous life where patients and sleepless nights were awaiting her. The idea doesn't excite her that much but she feels the strong need to leave Sylverbridge and the sooner, the better. That's when the wildest idea stroke her mind: travelling 580 miles back to Northtown - her working town - by renting a car and a private driver.
