An alternate universe where 7+ people in the "real world" get teleported to a horror-survival game for 5 days. If they die in the game, they die in real life.
5 days... until they realize that it's not actually a 5 day-stay.
The characters in the story are not the literal characters from the Sonic franchise. They're different characters who take on the form of them. Nonetheless, they slowly become their character unwillingly.

They have to live mundane lives during their time there. Some get jobs in order to blend in and earn their keep. Little do they know a certain egg themed villain is attempting to find this world to conquer as well as defeat the heros hiding in plain sight. Will they stop him without being captured by the villains of this world? Or will the villain rise to the top, rendering the heros useless? Eventual Sonadow, Rougeknux, Blazeamy, and Mephilver. 16+ there are adult themes and topics in this book not suitable for minors, nothing explicit, which is why I put 16+ rather than 18+. Join Sonic and his friends, new and old, as they start looking for the Chaos Emeralds and stop Dr Eggman.
