An alternate universe where 7+ people in the "real world" get teleported to a horror-survival game for 5 days. If they die in the game, they die in real life.
5 days... until they realize that it's not actually a 5 day-stay.
The characters in the story are not the literal characters from the Sonic franchise. They're different characters who take on the form of them. Nonetheless, they slowly become their character unwillingly.

The Hedgehog From Another Timeline
In another timeline a strange being attacked the universe. A resistance was formed to tried to stop the threat but they were squashed. Only one hedgehog from the resistance survived and needed to protect the remaining of his people. He was told to run away, his worse fear came into mind as he lost his home, his family, and his friends. He ran as fast as he could, the purple streak as he run, he was able to run so fast that he went into another timeline. A timeline where heroes truly exist.

Worse than Black Doom or anyone they fought before. Mephiles The Dark has return with new powers and sinister allies that could destroy what Sonic, and everyone been fighting for. Before they could start their search on Chaos Emeralds and fight Mephiles again, the Master Emerald glows up and spoke to them. He told them to find someone who would help them to defeat Mephiles and everything will be restored. Before they could ask, the Master Emerald glows up and teleporting the entire world of Sonic to another world. A mysterious yet magical world where mirrored their world but differently. That's where they meet new allies with special abilities and other creatures as the search for the Chaos Emeralds again who was got spread away. Will they find the person they are looking for and stop Mephiles from destroying everything? (This story is based on Sonic Prime and Sonic X Shadow Generations).
