This new series I'm coming out with is completely inspired and a continum of the Eragon Inheritance Cycle. I'm a big fan of the books, mostly because I'm obsessed with all sorts of mythological creatures, but I thought that I'd give Eragon the ending that I think he should have.
No, I'm not re-writing the entire ending to the last book in the series Inheritance. I'm continuing on the story, telling how Eragon found a place for raising dragons along with discovering a new race. (The first part of the story will be told in the narrator's view of Eragon's journey, then it will shift to a character from the new race). Along with that, a new enemy will face Alagaesia and it will take all nine dragon riders (yes, I added on six to the orginal, or at least living, three) to stop the menace.
I hope you enjoy my story and I hope it's just as good as the original.
Glaciem means Ice if you're wondering. I thought the title would fit in with the trend: Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr (which means fire), Inheritance, and then Glaciem (Ice).
Introduction part 2 is next, and it will inform you of the different races that inhabit Alagaesia.

The Path of the Adventurer
Here is an epic fantasy story set in my D&D world that I wrote not only for fans of RPGs and fantasy in general, but for all my friends. This story about my character Erion, a young elven warrior; and his many allies and enemies in the kingdom of Briarbeth. In this vast story, you'll meet daring heroes, joy-bringing mages, ruthless orcs and more. This novel has a multitude of inspirations and influences, chief among them being Dungeons and Dragons, The Lord of the Rings & The Hobbit, and The Legend of Zelda. I even take cues from anime such as Little Witch Academia, and favorite video games like Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and various JRPGs like Chrono Trigger. Look closely, and you may find subtle references to some of the aforementioned franchises at different points in the book :) Just a little warning: The story, especially the first couple of chapters, starts off with a several common fantasy tropes and clichés at first glance (e.g. elves and orcs, an old wizard with a pointy hat and a grey beard, taking treasure from dragon etc.), but it will grow into something a bit more unique as the story progresses. Please forgive my usage of Tolkienesque tropes, as I came up with the concept of the series when I was only fourteen (At the time I was making it in the style of old school fantasy, so what can you expect :p). Even I, as the creator will say it is cliched or stereotypical in some aspects. I only refuse to change them due to spending a lot of time with them during my high school years (And tbh i love elves/dwarves/orcs fantasy). With that aside, I hope that you will love my fantasy universe full of adventure and lore. Now sit back, relax, and embrace yourself for a magical adventure with Erion and his friends! Erys: An Eragon Fanfiction - (Under Editing)
In the time Eragon has been absent from Alagaësia, the riders have fallen to vices. Few have been able to raise to fulfill the roles the riders had originally been given, and a dark sect-reminiscent of the Foresworn-has risen to power. When men attack the village, her father disguises her as a young boy and makes her swear never to reveal her identity. When the marauders discover her, they take her and the other women and children hostage. Erys struggles to survive. Hiding her identity is almost impossible, and once they get her to the slave market, she would be trapped forever, and her true identity discovered. She plans her escape every night but has no idea where to go or who to trust. Her only sure plan of action is to free her mother, who has disappeared along with the other women captured the night of the attack. But first she has to escape her captors. The story is describing the erotic love life of a French pure Blood Emanuelle Daaé, who falls in love with Draco Malfoy after their many night hook-ups.
