A long time ago, shortly before the Gods descended upon the lower world, Zeus spoke with a fellow deity.
"Soon the divine will abdicate their place in heaven; they strive for entertainment in the lower world. However, I must demand that you remain here." The deity was confused, Zeus quickly caught onto his complicated expression.
"Your divine power is far too great. Even if we were to seal it, you would likely become a tragedy to the beings of the lower world." Zeus expanded, understanding his explanation the deity hesitantly accepted the old God's demands.
Soon after this conversation, the gods descended, The Deity was left trapped in an empty husk of the once bustling heaven.
For a millennia the god was isolated and trained in completed solitude... each and everyday he practiced completely suppressing his divinity within his body. The process was grueling. The potent energy he locked within himself eventually began to tear him apart from the inside.
In the end, the pain was only a small price to pay... If his torture succeseeded his divinity would be completely cotained and then he could finish step foot into the lower world without causing a tragedy.
(This is an OC story and a lot of things probably won't be canon since I'm just going for a fun time while writing this story. )
(Also I know Azrael is an angel but for they're a god cuz why not)

As a descendant of the most powerful gods, she has but one choice: help them, or they destroy her. A Familia Chronicle
Alright so this is a new Story of mine. This one is going to somewhat closely follow cannon at least at the start. The initial concept is partly inspired by the following other stories/authors Be Their Hero by ShadowKnight138, Rebirth of the Zeus Familia By Ashkar, Essence of a Hero by Yorubu And A Rabbit By The Roadside By JLDavenport Having said that I am going to only use the vaguest sense or specific scenarios that I like in them. If you have read them, you will probably see the resemblance. If you have not read them, totally check them out. Story is rated M. Also since most of my stories are cannon divergence. I will state a couple of things right from the start. 1. Bell was born like in cannon immediately following the Zeus and Hera familias' defeat by the OEBD. 2. In regards to the exile orders, Loki and Freya are going to be more neutral parties than my other two stories. They are to resemble their cannon personalities much more closely and be less antagonist towards Zeus and Hera. 3. Secondly, the difficulty of ranking up outside of Orario will be the same as in cannon. So Bell is NOT going to get crazy strong outside of Orario but he will get to Orario by the end of this chapter with a certain Goddess that we all know and love.
How I Accidentally Became a Deity

While casually reading a DanMachi FanFiction on the toilet, I suddenly found myself yanked into Orario, standing right in the Daedalus Street. A Fool's World is Infinite
'I knew it... We're going to die here...' When it seemed salvation was near, it was ripped from us, as if the world wanted to show our fate, mirrored by the remains before us. The thought came uncontrolled and dreaded deeper when more dungeon spawn emerged from the lurking shadows, charging at us. "FIREBOLT" In a desperate attempt at delaying the inevitable, fear overtook me as I recklessly drained my reserves, while making a barrier of stone between us and death. Exhaustion and terror crashed over me, as I fell to the floor. Ryuu-san must be worried--she must be saying something--but the ringing in my ears and the darkness closing in around my eyes are too much for me. "This is where we... I can't... anymore..."
