Background

After moving to America from Sweden, his mother married a famous movie star, but Paul's life didn't seem anymore different. Sure, he had to tell his mom where he was going when he left the house, but it wasn't like he went out often anyways. Paul did have one major change though, Piper. Piper is Paul's step-sister, they didn't talk much, but Paul had to be cautious around her. He could tell she was different, and he didn't like that.

Paul didnt even last a week before his mother had to tell Tristan about his "habit". The "habit" was the drinking addiction the 17 suffered from. No amount of rehab would change that. And it wasn't like the adults in his life could do much about it, Paul could literally summon whiskey.

When Paul's mom brought up the idea of "sibling bonding time" Piper didnt pass up the chance to offer to drive Paul, herself, and her girlfriend Shelly, to a camp she had going to for a few years now. Apparently it was pretty fun and free. Both Tristan and Paul's mom approved so off they went.
