Peregrine's have the worst luck. Odetta firmly believed in that. And her descendants would too. Peregrine meant traveler in Latin and that's what they were. They never stayed put, never got a home and never got peace. It seemed they were cursed, and no matter how much their loved ones tried, it seemed it couldn't be helped.
