I never meant for my life to twist like this.
Four brothers.
Chris, Nate, Matt, and Nick took the world I knew and flipped it on its head. Their house is loud in a way that fills the empty spaces I didn't realize I had. Chris grounds me. Matt watches everything. Nate brings chaos to the breakfast table. Nick beams with light.
But sometimes... there's another shift in the air.
A tension I can't quite name, something that sparks when a pair of eyes linger too long, when a silence stretches a little deeper than it should. I pretend I don't notice. I pretend it's nothing. Maybe it is.
When Chris steadies me with a hand on my back or a quiet word meant only for me, the noise in my head quiets. But... I don't belong here.

Perspective
I nod softly, trying to calm myself down and I tried to focus on his words. "You're okay, I'm not going to hurt you." He gently rubs my waist and I feel myself coming down from the painful feeling in my stomach. He gives me a small nod of appreciation, looking down between us with a sigh. He looks up at me, "Did you feel that too?" He asks, still holding onto my waist firmly with his body hesitantly pressing against me more. I know what he means and I did. I'm not one to lie even though he thinks that's all I do. I softly nod, syncing my breathing with his as we both stare into each other's eyes. I focused on how beautifully colored they were, bits and pieces of his eyes were a delicate grey while others were an intoxicating blue. His heart shaped lips were a light shade of pink as peppermint spilled out of them, a slit of black ran down the corner of his bottom that pushed right through the skin, curving around the perfect art.
