During initiation, the Reaper & the Heiress made eye contact. The two were supposed to be partners, but the Heiress turned and left. Normally, the Heiress would come back to the Reaper, deciding she was better than the Knight. 

But the multiverse is massive, and there are infinite possibilities. In this timeline, the Heiress decided to stay with the Knight, leaving the Reaper behind. The Reaper would then meet eye-to-eye with the Champion, & the two would become partners, & perhaps more.

And finally, Ruby needs to learn how to keep her emotions in check, training with her father whenever he's around to do so. An incident causes Ruby to have to travel around the tundra and forests of Atlas, lest she be caught and and possibly killed by Ironwood. Whilst our favourite team are busy, a new but ancient threat awakens, causing chaos, corruption and death where ever it directs its minions of darkness. Will Team RWBY eventually find each other again and figure out why the world is crumbling around them? Or will they crumble with it? I do not own RWBY- if I did I'd be rich but I'm not. The storyline is similar to canon but it has been given a massive divergence, including the story of the brother gods, Salem and Ozma amongst other things.

That right Ruby's mission was to kill Jaques Schnee, Weiss's father However, over time something was stopping Ruby was finishing the mission. It is because Ruby felt something for Weiss and she does not know what it is. Ruby hates it or does she?
