Over 30 years after the events of Lost in New York, Kevin McCallister is all grown up with a family of his own. Not only that, his story is well known to the public, he's a owner of a business that specializes in home security, and a retired police officer after joining at 19 before leaving at 37 years old. After he graduated high school, he's done everything he can to get away from his family. After the promises of from them that they would do better, they never made an effort to be better, they would go back to their same old selves prior from when he was left home alone or when he got lost in New York. He cut off all contact with them and made a point of not wanting to talk to them or see them again.

Things take a turn after the wife of his mentor died, but what he didn't know was that he would be reunited with his family. Lines will be drawn, secrets will come out, and it's all life or death. Kevin wasn't a little kid anymore and he wasn't going to be dealing with idiotic burglars anymore, so he knew that he had to up the stakes.
