"This is totally ridiculous!?" She muttered as something caught her eye.
**_'Attract Hot Boys: Slay Subliminals!'_**
She nearly choked on air as she read the title. "So subliminal music is like some kind of magic chant, huh? Bish logic." Skeptical, she dived into the comments section for a good laugh.
- **Gg5818:** "Guys, I listened to this for a week, and guess what? All the hot guys are chasing after me! I even started dating my crush. It's like a dream come true!"
_(Natalie: Girl, wake up. You're still dreaming. Go seek help.)_
- **Sheash67:** "I listened to this, and when I walked past a group of hot guys, they stared at me!"
_(Natalie: Uh, maybe they noticed a stain on your shirt or something?)_
- **Update:** "Guys, one of them asked for my Snapchat. IT WORKS!"
_(Natalie: Hah!?)_
She couldn't hold back her laughter. "Oma gosh, the people in the comments section are more insane than the blogger. Y'all need therapists," she thought, trying not to roll her eyes. Still, curiosity lingered. "Maybe I'll give it a try... not because I'm desperate or anything. Relationships are cliché and annoying. I need to focus on becoming a study maniac."
Her motivation to reinvent herself wasn't just about academics-it was personal. After wasting so much time crushing on her old flame and feeling like a hopeless simp, she was done with that version of herself. Her overthinking, her insecurities, and the constant comparison to others were things she needed to leave behind.
"I'm starting a new chapter. A better me." She was determined to prove everyone wrong and achieve the life she dreamed of. Scholarships, success, and become Suga momma were her new priorities. **No more distractions.**
But, with a smirk, she decided to humor herself. "What's the harm in trying this subliminal thing? If nothing else, it'll make a funny story." She downloaded the track and pressed play, not knowing how much it would actually change her life...
An internal voice whispered, "Call him."
But I chose not to.
I dismissed it once more, saying, "He never liked me anyway."
Yet the dilemma lingered.
"But maybe he does. The way he looks at you... it's different."
Out of nowhere, he glanced my way. My heartbeat quickened, sending shivers down my spine.
I averted my gaze, pretending to look around.
"Has he noticed me? No, wait-oh my god."

### Notice:
This is my first published story, and it contains numerous grammatical errors and bad editing. If you're interested in the storyline, please don't judge me too harshly based on this book. Better stories are on the way-I'm still learning and improving every day.
