Crossing Over

Katniss Everdeen had never truly considered Madge Undersee a friend. But when you live in a practically empty house in Victor's Village, your sister, mother, and Gale are still carrying on with their lives, you are unable to work up the courage to talk to Peeta and have no need to do the hunting that once brought you joy, boredom inevitably sets in. So once Katniss hears Madge is "dying to go into the woods", the young victor can't help but seize this opportunity by the horns. After all, it's simply one afternoon in the woods. It's nothing more important than that. Right?
