After awakening in a prison cell at the mercy of a deranged king, Theo finds himself without memories of the man he once is-or why he's there. Adding to the intrigue is Theo's newest companion-a silent apprentice of the king's witch, whose enigmatic presence piques the crew's curiosity and threatens to sow suspicion.

Theo struggles to balance his own uncertainty and the crew's faith in him, but time is ticking. The clock is ticking. The king's influence looms, the apprentice's true purpose remains unclear, and Theo must navigate the unknown before time runs out.
