Ladelia Gibbons: Three Years of Life

In the first book of the Ladelia Gibbons series, Ladelia Gibbons has had an awful miserable life with her parents who have abused her every day since childhood. Yet, she remains a girl with a good heart and has many friends in school while hiding her physical injuries from them. Suddenly, she is visited by Vira, a powerful shamaness who fell from the sky. She tells Ladelia that she is in an alternate universe and was placed there by the astral monster Papa Djinnosaurus who trapped her there so that she couldn't use her inborn powers to stop him from taking over the world. Now, she has to try to awaken her powers to escape and defeat Papa Djinnosaurus and his monsters for the remainder of her time at Belvedere High School. It may be a tough road and many people will die but if Ladelia is up to the challenge, she must use every ounce of her powers. But will it be enough?
