Emergency Room Nurse Catalina Lawson is no stranger to chaos. Realizing the liability she now poses, Guzmán gives her an ultimatum: join his personal medical staff, allowing him to keep tabs on her and secure the dangerous knowledge she's gained-or refuse, but risk becoming a target. By rejecting his offer, she would be forced to live with the deadly consequences of what she knows.

Catalina, who's spent her life saving others, now faces a brutal moral crossroads. The choice before her threatens everything she holds dear-her career, her safety, and a vow to always work on the right side of the law. As time goes on, she uncovers more than she bargained for, and one thing becomes clear: one wrong move could cost her everything, and the clock is ticking.
