behind the camera - fake dating romance (wlw)

What starts as a PR stunt begins to spark into something real, threatening to expose more than just their hearts. *** She's the world's best hockey player. She's a heartbroken photographer with nowhere else to go. And they were never supposed to fall in love. At 24, Amelia Bennett is the most talented hockey player on the planet-chaotic, impulsive, and the last Bennett standing without a ring on her finger. After a very public scandal threatens her sponsorships and reputation, the team's PR crisis plan is simple: clean up her image fast. Step one? A fake relationship. Something that should be easy, right? Harper Lane has no interest in fame, or falling for another golden boy-or girl-with a spotlight stitched into their skin. After catching her long-term boyfriend cheating, she's sworn off chaos and charm. But when her best friend Audrey begs her to stay with Millie temporarily, Harper finds herself in the middle of a media storm-and somehow agreeing to pretend to be Millie Bennett's girlfriend. It's only for the cameras. Just long enough to fix Millie's image. Just enough to keep Harper's ex boyfriend off her back. But fake smiles turn into real moments. Cold shoulders warm under shared blankets. And the girl Harper was warned about-the reckless, beautiful mess, is nothing like the one who makes her tea when she's anxious and kisses her like she means it. Wren
(Book 5) *Complete* Wren grew up on the west coast, in a wealthy neighbourhood of Portland Oregon, she was not shy of attention, growing up with the famous Teddy Nomikos as one of her moms. She is fresh out of high school, leaving home for the first time, and leaving the hormonal house behind, two teenage sisters Olympia, 16, Josephine, 14, and a little brother, Bastion "Bash", 6 Teddy and Harper would cry when they dropped her off but Wren was literally up the road, at the university of Oregon, her adult life just beginning. College to Wren = Party, Girls, Party, Girls, with a side of majoring in psychology and soccer. Wren was all about that college party life, until someone a little older catches her eye, someone who she shouldn't try it with, but she couldn't help herself, she had confidence for days... and this young teacher, oof, she did something to her, what a surprise to find her at a gay club on a Friday night in the city... and to find she had no idea who she was?! What could possibly go wrong there. Millie Dawson was a young teacher, Twenty three years old, newly graduated with a masters degree and teaching her first year at the community college, whilst simultaneously assisting her mother Moira at the university in her speciality, psychology. Millie crammed so much into her learning and work life that she didn't much notice anyone around her, certainly not the beautiful girl sat in her mothers class, who she would have recognised as a student had she ever looked up long enough, and she could have then avoided the moment she stepped over the line and became inappropriate with a student. Wren was impossible, impossibly cute, driven, confident, funny, gorgeous and intent on making Millie fall for her, no matter how she tried to avoid it. Then there was Ava, Wrens ex from high school...who hadn't been able to quit thinking about her. *I DO NOT GIVE PERMISSION FOR THIS BOOK TO BE COPIED, OR ADAPTED ON THIS PLATFORM OR ANY OTHER*Complete
The Article ~ A.R
"This article would be huge, but I couldn't do that to her.. Could I?" Evelyn Sayers was just a plain journalist. Well, plain in her mind. She couldn't care less about the things she wrote about however she needed the money and she was a brilliant writer. She was interviewing players before the 2023/24 WSL season begins, and she meets a new transfer to Arsenal. What will happen when she gets to know the transfer a little better... She wasn't ready for a relationship, she thought they both knew that going in. But life suprises you, in many different ways. I'm not great at descriptions sorry! Read the book though. The songs that I most associate with this book are 'With or without you' By U2 and 'Can't help falling in love' By Elvis! My first language is German so apologies if there are any spelling or grammar errors, I do proof read but it's not foolproof.Complete

Unbreakable
Alex McCabe is a force of nature. A powerhouse in midfield for Arsenal Women and the Ireland Women's National Team, she is known for her brutal strength, unmatched skill, and an attitude that makes even the fiercest of opponents think twice before crossing her. Built like a brick wall from relentless hours in the gym, her body is a canvas of ink, tattoos covering her from head to toe, each one telling a story she rarely shares. Her presence alone is enough to silence a room. Her reputation? Infamous. Fearless on the pitch and reckless off it, Alex has long lived a life of no consequences. She moves through the world as if nothing can touch her, and maybe nothing ever has. Every nightclub is her hunting ground, every woman she meets a potential conquest. She doesn't do love. She doesn't do attachments. And she definitely doesn't do guilt. Cheating, lying, and running from emotions? That's all just part of the Alex McCabe experience. Because when you're one of the best footballers in the world, people look the other way. Her teammates know her as an enigma, someone they admire for her skill but fear for her unpredictability. Everyone keeps their distance-except for two people: Katie McCabe, her older sister and the only person who has ever truly known her, and Leah Williamson, England captain and Arsenal's golden girl, who knows every inch of Alex's body just as well as she knows her own. Alex and Leah's relationship is complicated-if you can even call it a relationship. It's sex. It's comfort. It's late nights after games, tangled sheets, and bodies pressed together in the dark. It's something unspoken, something that neither of them acknowledges when the sun rises. They don't talk about it, because talking would make it real, and real is something Alex has never been good at handling. Leah understands that. She never asks for more. She never expects anything. That's why it works.Complete
