Yui Hirasawa has the biggest problem to face after joining Hope's Peak academy; finding her talent. But she's not sure what she should do exactly. And her friends Makoto Naegi, Sayaka Maizono, and her childhood friend, Nodoka Manabe, all pose the same question; what should she do? And they are worried for her too. If she doesn't join anything soon, she'll automatically be put in the Reserve Course. 

Well, soon after, she joins the Light Music Club on a whim. Finally, something to do, and it's easy. But... But after finding it's not gonna be easy, she decides to quit. 

However, after some time, she feels as if she found what she should do; music. And so, she, and along her bandmates - Mio Akiyama, the chill-headed bassist, Ritsu Tainaka, the energetic drummer, and Tsumugi Kotobuki, the sweet keyboardist -decide to go on the path of being the "Ultimate Band." 

And deep down, it's as if... 

Yui Hirasawa, a normal high school girl... 

Just found the thing... no. The people she loves.

She says with a sinister grin. "Great, I'm (Y/N) (L/N). I'm very happy to say that I will be your therapist starting today. My title is super duper high school psychiatrist or a mental doctor."
