Rachel North doesn't expect to fall in love during a blizzard. She doesn't expect to fall in love ... ever. She's focused on becoming one of the few female graduates from the Michigan School of Dentistry. There is no room for love in that plan.
Ben Holbrook is a medical student headed home to Montana for a holiday visit. The stunning red-haired woman sitting opposite him on the Christmas Train catches his eye, but she's not inclined to be friendly.
All that changes when a blizzard sweeps across the prairie, leaving the train stranded and the passengers forced to wait it out. Ben and Rachel discover a connection so strong that it catches them by surprise, but they must choose between love and their dreams. It's an impossible decision.
