Luke and Leia were about to turn four years old, and Padmé was desperate to have Anakin back. She was desperate to turn the sad & lonely Darth Vader into the man she once knew as Anakin Skywalker. She wasn't giving up. Padmé was lucky enough to even be alive, Bail Organa and Obi-Wan stored her in frozen carbonite to rejuvenate her health, she only just got out of it recently. highest ranks: #3 in #padme #5 in #leiaskywalker #19 in #anidala disclaimer; -this was made before that last season of tcw came out, and along with the bad batch, and the mandalorian season. ahsoka's timeline might be iffy. -i personally have not made any characters in this story, they all belong to george lucas, and if i do make one, i'd tell you. -this is an au so some things may be incorrect, but it's alright. Anakin Skywalker will not become Darth Vader. Not yet, anyway. Padmé saved him from a lifetime of regret by pulling him out of the fateful battle between Mace Windu and Chancellor Palpatine. But at some point, he still has to decide if his heart lies with the Jedi or the Sith. Palpatine, undeterred by the loss of his potential apprentice, still devises a way to create the Empire and wipe out the vast majority of the Jedi. He sends various threats directly to Anakin and Padmé to convince them that they and their newborn children are in danger. Fearing for their safety, they split. For years, Anakin and Leia wander throughout the galaxy, dodging the Empire and searching for a greater purpose. Meanwhile, Padmé raises Luke while working with Bail Organa and Mon Mothma to lead the fight against the oppressive Galactic Empire. Anakin is constantly tempted by the Dark Side. Padmé struggles to help the Rebels succeed. Their children mean everything to both of them. The story also features other characters we all know and love, such as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka Tano, Han Solo, and Boba Fett. Most of the story takes place 7 years after Revenge of the Sith. *REUPLOADED AND UPDATED* Even with the Republic gone and the Jedi Order wiped out, Ahsoka Tano had risen from being a Jedi Knight in hiding; to being the Rebel informant, Fulcrum; to become the first General of the Rebel Alliance. After surviving a duel with the Sith Lord, Darth Vader on Malachor, who once turned out to be Anakin Skywalker, her former master and friend, Ahsoka has to return to the rebellion and her allies. But she has to face more difficult trials, not only from the growing rebellion but from herself and the people close to her. She must learn to let go of attachments and face her fears, in order to be able to lead the fight openly as a Jedi Knight. The story follows the plotline of my other story, A Hero's Downfall (If you haven't read it yet, check it out!). It's not a sequel, it just follows the plotline. And it is set at the end and after the Star Wars Rebels episode, Twilight of the Apprentice. (This is how I think it happened from there.) Also, I wrote this way before both series ended, so there's a little bit of canon divergence. I don't own Star Wars and its characters and places, they belong to Lucasfilm and Disney. It may also include a few OCs.
