Yellowstone: The Train Station

For some, Yellowstone is a place of refuge. Others flee, hoping never to return. Others hope to find love.

But what do you do when the love turns to betrayal? Anicka Perez made a bad marriage but didn't know it until her husband beat her when they returned from their honeymoon--all because she was too tired for sex.

Faced with the realization of the true nature of the man she married, she ran away in the middle of the night barefooted and taking her pregnant cat. She beat on doors until a kind woman took her in and called her mother who came and fetched her home. Her mother called the cops, and it only took one look for them to realize how badly she'd been hurt.

The family huddles together to decide what to do. Her mother Paola and brother Ramon can support her for a few months, but both are shocked when she announces she is going to look for her brother Benito.

His last known address was the Yellowstone so that is where she intends to start. She rides but not well enough to be a ranch hand. She can cook and muck stalls, that could -be enough to get her hired for something.

She can't wait to leave Texas and finds herself driving her father's old truck and heading north. She had to leave her beloved cat behind, but her sister gives her a half-grown German shepherd puppy to keep her company.

She gets to Montana and the Yellowstone and is offered a job mucking stalls. She hears about a mysterious place they call the "Train Station" and wonders if that is where her brother ended up.

The Duttons have accepted her, but she is cautious, using her fake names and telling no one who she is.

When Travis Wheatley comes to the ranch and meets her, he knows he has met the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with. She finds herself falling in love, but to be with Travis means returning to Texas, and all the bad memories.

Will she be able to overcome her fears, will love win her over? Only time will tell.
