In the age of the Great Crusade, when the Emperor's light sought to pierce the endless dark, there was one who rose among the stars with a vision of unity and strength. He was Gaius Aurelius Regulus, the Primarch of the Second Legion, the Argent Eagles, forged by fate to bring order to chaos and peace to the shattered realms of Man. His was the voice of reason amid the clamor of war, his blade the instrument of Imperial justice.

From the ashes of fractured worlds, he wove alliances; from the ruins of defiance, he built empires. Yet even as his conquests brought glory to the Imperium, shadows gathered around him. For in the Imperium of Man, loyalty is both a virtue and a burden, and the price of unity is often paid in blood.

As the tides of betrayal and ambition rise, Regulus must confront the eternal question: does the dream of order justify the cost of sacrifice? In the crucible of war, his Legion will stand as a testament to the indomitable will of humanity-or as a warning to those who would place hope in fragile bonds of trust.

So begins the tale of the Second Legion: warriors, builders, and unifiers, born to soar above the stars as Argent Eagles. Their triumphs are written in fire, their legacy etched in shadow. For in the grim darkness of the 31st Millennium, even the noblest ideals can be shattered by the unyielding march of fate.

World Beyond: Charting the Infinite [ Startrek x scifi & fantasy ] by earthfatking
13 parts Ongoing
For centuries, humanity battled its own demons-war, destruction, the ever-present shadow of extinction. But against all odds, it endured. Nations united, wounds healed, and a single banner rose above the entire Earth: United Earth Government and later the United Federation of Planets. By the year 2288, humanity had transformed from a fractured species into a galactic civilization. The Federation stretched across the stars, its influence reaching every corner of the Milky Way. It was an era of peace, progress, and unmatched technological triumph. And yet... they were alone. No matter how far their ships traveled or how many worlds they surveyed, there was no sign of other intelligent life. The universe vast, ancient, and beautiful remained eerily silent. Theories once whispered in academic circles, the "Great Filter," the "Rare Earth" now loomed large and terrifying. Was intelligence a cosmic accident? Was humanity the only one to make it this far? Then, everything changed. On the eve of humanity's historic voyage to Andromeda (M31). As their science vessel prepared for its journey across 2.6 million light years, something unprecedented occurred. In a flash, space itself seemed to twist and fold, as the Milky Way merged with another galaxy in instant, one far larger and older than their own. Now, in this strange, limitless frontier, humanity's greatest adventure was only just beginning. Would they adapt and survive, or uncover something beyond their wildest understanding? Only time would reveal the truth... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Heavily influenced by Nihonkoku Shoukan by Minorou, Anime GATE and various nation summoned novels here in wattpad. [Sequel to 'Imperium'] Following the successful defense of Alamarri and the sudden withdrawal of Hepharion's Chaos Marines, Caius returned to Macragge in time to see the return of his Primarch and receive a new mission from his Captain: find Hepharion and bring him down, no matter the cost, and chase down and secure the remains of the ancient Titan project. At first, resources seem scarce with the Black Crusade taking much of the attention and firepower of the Ultramarines. However, help comes in an unexpected form when an Inquisitor's acolyte appears with an unexpected offer for the men of the Twentieth. Across the stars, Bahad is called before the Council of Farseers of his Craftworld and desperately pleads his case for his alliance with Caius and his hunt for Hepharion. However, this falls on deaf ears when the Craftworld, concerned about his continued association with the Imperium, orders him into a temporary arrest to await further judgment. While in isolation, plagued by his visions of what shall happen without his involvement, he, too, receives an unexpected visitor: a Harlequin Solitaire with a keen interest on seeing him reunited with his Ultramarine. As the two friends journey forth, their paths lead them to one another once again and to the planet of Cosperan, home to a Black Templar Crusade and the most recent spot where Hepharion's Warband was spotted. --- STORIES IN THE SERIES: 0. While Remnants of the Imperium and its vassals still fight on, to do what they can, they are mostly leaderless, with the only surviving members of the Royal Family being Y/n's younger siblings, Chris(tina) and Pyre, and his twin, Selene. yet all is not lost, A Search Begins, a Hunt ends, Legends will be proven true, while old myths come back to the chessboard, Will Dawn or Dusk Yield? The Ark Of War Begins, and with it, the Pendulum swings... And you are the Catalyst. Yes, I am not good at book covers. No, this is not an official work, like my last story, simply a fanfic, with added elements. Trails of darkness, Is no longer canon in my fanfic's lore. I do not own any of the videos or pictures used in the making of this Fanfic series, and all content goes to original creators. This is the real first book of the series, the prequel will be modified to fit the lore established in THIS book. Also, some of the grammar in the first few chapters is . . . Questionable, to say the least, but please ignore my rushing to get chapters out at first, because it gets better later on.

(AN: I plan to conquer the Milky Way galaxy.) In the aftermath of the Great Galactic War, the Sith withdrew into the uncharted depths of the unknown regions, their empire splintered and fractured by infighting. Amidst the chaos, a force-wielding noble of House Thule, Adrian Thule, rose as an unlikely savior of order. With charisma, tactical brilliance, and a vision of unity, Adrian rallied those disillusioned by Sith tyranny. Over two decades of brutal civil war, his armies crushed the Sith remnants, forging a new empire from the ashes of discord. This new empire chose secrecy, its leaders deeming the greater galaxy unworthy of their renewed strength. They withdrew into the vast void, colonizing and conquering the unknown regions of their home galaxy. Unshackled by external interference, they built a civilization both advanced and unyielding, guided by Thule's principles of discipline, power, and order. The galaxy they left behind forgot them, but they did not forget the galaxy. Two and a half millennia have passed since Adrian Thule's ascension, and the empire, its strength unmatched within its borders, has turned its gaze outward. The unknown regions are no longer a frontier-they are the empire's dominion. Driven by curiosity, ambition, and an innate sense of destiny, their explorers have begun probing the borders of other galaxies. The Milky Way is their first discovery. A galaxy teeming with life, its fractured alliances and diverse civilizations present both opportunities and threats. The empire, watching from the shadows, prepares to make its move. Will the Milky Way prove to be a theater for conquest, an ally against the unknown, or a stage for a cataclysmic clash of civilizations? The echoes of Adrian Thule's legacy resonate through time as the empire stands at the brink of a new chapter, poised to redefine the fate of two galaxies. The question is no longer whether the galaxy is ready for the empire-it is whether the empire is ready for the galaxy.
