Many years before the rise of the Ninja a top secret military project was initiated with one goal in mind, to create the Ultimate Lifeform. A being that would never age, never get sick and never die, so that he may fight and defend Ninjago. However, after a horrible incident the project was shut down, those that worked on it were arrested and the Ultimate Lifeform was put into stasis, never to be seen again.

Now almost 50 years later the evil Lord Garmadon, desperate for a way to destroy the Ninja after his Mega Weapons destruction, learns of the Ultimate Lifeform and frees him. But little did Garmadon know that while he wanted to rule the world this person wanted only one thing, revenge! Will the Ninja be able to stop Garmadon and the Ultimate Lifeform? What plans does the latter have? And maybe, just maybe, could there be more to the Ultimate Lifeform than meets the eye?
