I am republishing this for a friend who wanted to read a sample of my work. The plot is all over the place, but I know I'll revisit it in future. I initially wrote this in 2017 before I knew a lot of things I know now. There's a lot in here that is culturally insensitive. I have done my best to edit out what I could find at first glance, but if you see something glaringly offensive please make a comment about it so that I can correct my errors. The most egregious example that comes to mind is using the G-word for the Romani and relying on unflattering stereotypes. I plan to correct a lot of this in proceeding drafts. Parallel Universe: A world conceived of as coexisting with and having certain similiarities to the known world but different from it in some fundamental way. Example: I am writing this book but the title is different in the other universe. They were in a parallel universe. Of course they did not realize this, as most people don't. The Noora and William we know in this universe is our reality, but a few things are different. Such as Eva never exsisting and being replaced by new people you've never met, or by Noora's terrible past catching up to her. Events and people are different and you will notice these things. When you do notice these things, do not be alarmed because this is not your universe, it is only a mirror image of what your universe could be. I do not own any of these characters and some dialogue is taken from the original story. The ideas that are changed are one hundred percent mine.
