However Nathan has discovered an ability, an ability that sets him aside from everyone. Being able to manipulate his body into a type of plant or tree is magnificent. As he matures, he uncovers and learns new abilities that are utterly astounding... The police tell him his parents  are dead for 15 years. As soon as he realizes the immense strength he has, he gets exported to a place where no human has set foot on, a deserted island where he finds out there are 6 of his kind. Who will form 3 immortal pairs

In this island he finds out they're are other species who will  confirm the extinction of humans and finding knowledge of his species. An adventure that will gradually uncover the mystery death of his parents.

When Zoe discovers who the alien is, it's a complete game changer because the alien is closer to her than she ever could have imagined. The story takes place in a small town surrounded by forest near the Oregon-California border. Of course it does, after all, the highest concentration of Qi is found in forests where ancient redwoods grow. You might be wondering, what is Qi? In Japan it is called "ki," and in India, "prana"." The ancient Egyptians referred to it as "ka," and the ancient Greeks as "pneuma." In Africa, it's known as "ashe" and in Hawaii as "mana." Qi, Prana, Ki, call it what you will, this energy is the life force itself.

Otherworldly, de bellakills

It doesn't make sense. How is any of it possible? Where does the plot line link? Why care about some random teen aliens? Oh, God, why does it get dark so fast? As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise. Things change drastically when he's friend returned and the love of his life been kidnapped. His friend makes a wrong choice into resurrecting something he shouldn't have. Now It's all left to him and others like him to save the world from that which has been awakened and to stop he whom awakened it.
