Blindsided

Elysa Degras' junior year is off to a rough start. Soccer practices have been kicking her butt, her advanced math class has been really kicking her butt, and her history teacher just blackmailed her into joining the school's (ultra nerdy) Quiz Bowl team. And if all of that wasn't bad enough, she somehow developed feelings for her longtime best friend, whom she lied to about having a boyfriend to cover for all her recent weird behavior. Now she has one of her brother's friends posing as her fake boyfriend to keep all the chaos from spiraling into disaster, but there's something suspicious about this Luke Haywood guy, and it's not just his unnerving ability to make their fake relationship feel a little too real. She's almost positive he's hiding something from her, and she intends to root out his secret even at the expense of exposing her own.
