Ariella lives a peaceful life as the Heir to the neutral Twilight Clan until one day reports begin pouring in of a darkness stirring beyond their borders. A darkness that her clan will not be able to face alone. Now it's up to her to convince the Chiefs of the Day and Night Clans to join hers to fight the darkness, which is easier said than done. Chief Lucien Daybright and Chief Ragnor Nightshadow despise each other and can hardly be in the same room without resorting to violence. And if that wasn't bad enough, Ariella finds out that the three of them are part of a prophecy. And that Lucien and Ragnor are both her fated mates. Now she has to find a way to get them to work together before death consumes them all.
