Living within the depths of the Black Market of the city, underneath the radar of everyone, isn't great. Not for everyone. It's certainly not sunshine and rainbows; anyone can tell you that. But it's the only place a carnivore can feel unshackled by the fear-ridden herbivores that control the streets. The schools. Governments.

On the other hand, a regular herbivore in this world is nothing but a delicate flower: something to be cherished and protected. Nothing about you is anything but soft, and so people just stumble over your own strength. Being talked down to, being constantly afraid, never allowing yourself to take a simple risk. There may be plenty of herbivores, but one will always be seen as helpless to the bigger one.

Then, one faithful night, these two worlds collide in a mess of trouble stumbling into a lucky place.
