Yes, this is so original, isn't it? But, I think mine might be a bit different. Well, as I've been writing my other fanfics (and going to high school myself) I've been thinking of great scenarios that won't work, because the stories aren't present time. So, I decided to be unoriginal for once and write this. Panem High School is a prestigious private school in the Capitol of the country of Panem. It's where all the best, brightest, and richest citizens send their children to school. None of them are as one dimensional as they seem on the surface. This story is written from multiple POVs (at the moment, Katniss, Peeta, Johanna, Cato, Clove, Gale, and Madge), so that's different from all the other "Hunger Games High" stories I've read. There is Clato (just wait for it, it isn't instantly), Gadge, and other ships, so hooray for all of you shippers! I broke down and decided to enter this book in the 2015 Wattys too, so please read and vote, and most important of all: COMMENT so I can get better! Thank you so much for reading!

This year, more tributes than ever were to be reaped as a reminder that no matter how many people try to rebel, the Capitol will always be the strongest. However, things take a turn for the worst during these games, with the tributes rebelling and the Capitol's gamemakers, hosts and president under pressure. They all have their journeys until all of their stories collide when they reach the Capitol for the games. While at the Capitol there are talks of a plan. The plan being that everyone will refuse to fight (apart from the careers) The only catch is that their mentors have no idea. But some tributes have different plans, plans to escape the arena. What if the rebellion failed, the hunger games continued? These are the 150th annual hunger games! To remind the citizens of the failed rebellion the Capitol decided to hide ruins in the arena. Vivus Redis, a seventeen year old boy from district 13, is being reaped. Will he survive and see his best friend and family again? Or will he die a horrible death in the arena? And what's up with all these mockingjay symbols? "Why?!", yells Res as she enters the room. "I told you to not do that! I told you that over and over again!" Tears start rolling down her face again, washing away dust and dirt. I don't know what to say, it's like I don't have a voice anymore, so I just stand up and go to her. In such a world, tributes are pulled from the same pool, and so in addition to being reaped, sometimes you just know you don't have a chance; two boys from District 2 would plow through the rest, and all you can do is cry. ---------------------------------------------------------- She lived in 12 for generations of her family, but not in the filth, nor was she in a family of victors. No. She was the child of peacekeepers; she was trained to fight, in special schools for them, and even her name was only once in the reaping bowl as she grew, no matter what she did. People like her would be 12's future peacekeepers, raised and trained on site for generations of their families to be sure they know all there is to know about the district they'll keep in check. ---------------------------------------------------------- She grew up in 12, in the poorest part of 12. She'd hunt for her family with her friend and would exchange some wild game with the on-and-off boyfriend she had, son of the baker, or her best friend. Her life was hard.
