14 years ago, a mysterious group of armed men attacked Maxwell Germain's (8) home. As they killed his mother and took his brother (10), all he could do was stand powerless and send out an alert for help to the Heroes he believed in so much, but nobody came. Determined to uncover what happened to his brother and help the people that are overlooked by the Hero Agency, he becomes a tertiary support agent with the help of his uncle. However at 23 years old he loses his job and on the way home gets into an accident. When he awakes and a man tells him he may know what happened to his brother, Max's life and the world of Heroes is shaken to it's core.
