"So it wasn't just a friendly new years kiss?" You tease playfully, grinning. Your head's still spinning from utter bliss.
Jackie snorts, her eyes sparkling with something both warm and competitive. She pokes you gently in the chest, her lips twitching in a smile. But all you can focus on is the way her fingers keep mindlessly playing with the hairs at the nape of your neck.
"Please. You really think I'd look forward to a 'friendly' kiss this much?" She laughs softly, shaking her head. "When's the last time you were that excited to kiss someone you were just friends with?"
"Fair point." You mumble.
"For the record," Jackie murmurs. "No. It was definitely not just a friendly new years kiss. Now, are you gonna keep talking, or are you going to keep kissing me?"
