Classic space opera. I am revisiting an old idea I had.
~Tight ensemble of characters amid a hostile environment. In an advanced timeline roughly 1000 years into the future. Crit, an unreliable citizen in the system stirs trouble against a new regime, taking hold over the galaxy's freedom.
I am still learning the ways of literature, I believe I have a ton of stories that'll either leave a laugh or tear. Please be patient while I'm re-educating myself.

What was once a bright and happy world. Heroes keeping the peace. Soon plunged into darkness by the Villains. No more Heroes are left, no more law enforcement left to resist, leaving the villains to rule. They have created a system for the unwilling people to follow. It only takes one to break a system. We follow our hero who has had enough of the villains. But he'll have to free one area at a time. (Know that I'm doing the whole irl locations thing to the best of my ability. Also note that this story has some disturbing events that isn't suitable to young audiences.)

A Kingdom at war
Two brothers grow up in a remote town. One day their town is attacked and they have to flee. Eventually, they find out that the Kingdom they live in, is being invaded. Siem, the older brother, has an affinity with the light element. Jens, the younger brother has a talent with the sword. They eventually split up because they each have their own path to become stronger. Apart from each other they both show signs of great talents. Siem amazes with his talent in magic while Jens gains a promotion in the military and has to lead his own squad. When the war has progressed to the final stages they meet again. At that time they both have friends they rely on. Eventually all of them end up where the final battle will be. They have to use everything at their disposal to fight the enemy and win the final battle. Only then can there be a new period of peace for their Kingdom.Complete

After pushing the authorities too far one last time, he disappears and discovers that sometimes you should be careful what you wish for. Meanwhile Morgan, a career orientated associate on the fast track to make Executive, has her own life turned upside down as she reluctantly joins the hunt for Thrain.
