Classic space opera. I am revisiting an old idea I had.

~Tight ensemble of characters amid a hostile environment. In an advanced timeline roughly 1000 years into the future. Crit, an unreliable citizen in the system stirs trouble against a new regime, taking hold over the galaxy's freedom.

The distant future. The war between androids and humanity has recently ended. The humans barely won, losing many technologies. A little time has passed, and a new threat has emerged. The emperor of one of the empires wants to enslave everyone, and the Republic of free planets is forced to enter the war. The Republic's scientists invent a new engine, but it needs a lot of gold. One of the ships of the free planets goes to a newly discovered, backward planet. It is inhabited by humans, but communication with other planets has long been lost, and the people have slipped into a feudal-slave system. But first, the scientists decide to organize a rebellion on the planet. The godlike have to face many difficulties.
