Zackai and Eilex are soulbound mates now, yet the Fates keep separating the two of them. Eilex is caught up in some family drama, and Zackai is trying to save his throne. But their lives have become total chaos with the arrival of a dark being who can disguise themselves as anyone.

Mother Uyrd, their Goddess, has come to both of them as a vision, trying to warn them of the coming dangers. But if Zackai and Eilex can't find each other, as well as their friends, in time, all will be lost.
