In the heart of Rome, Y/N, the spirited daughter of a noble general, has always yearned for Maximus, the honorable warrior destined for greatness. But when Emperor Commodus seizes power after his father's death, her world shatters. Accused of treason, her father is exiled, and soon she is taken prisoner by the mercurial new emperor.

→ This was actually the first fanfiction I ever wrote. I finished it a while ago and decided later on to post it here, partly to share the story, but also to honor my past writing self and see how far I've grown. Since then, I've been practicing and my writing style has improved and changed, still I wanted to leave this story up because it's where I started.
