Glisten x Connie fanfic
"smoke and mirrors" -noun [plural]
- the obscuring or embellishing of the truth of a situation, often by diverting one's attention with false and misleading information.
In a world surrounded by so many talents, it can feel natural to lie about one's abilities or personality to fit in. Quite ironically, in an attempt to fit in, such lies only serve to hinder any real personal connections from being developed. When you have lived a lie for so long that your true self has been hidden completely, who can you turn to when you need to talk?
Glisten and Connie are two toons with false personas, lying about their talents and achievements, pretending to be who they are not. This shared struggle of theirs causes them to become more than friends, as they rely on each other to brave through tough times.

"𝑨𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒓 is more 𝒖𝒔𝒆𝒇𝒖𝒍. 𝑾𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒉 is more 𝒑𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒇𝒖𝒍. 𝑹𝒂𝒈𝒆 is more 𝒅𝒆𝒗𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈. And if I shall burn in this fire... 𝑰 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒅𝒐𝒘𝒏 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒎𝒆." She said the last sentence with a whisper, causing chills down their spines. With eyes so dark revealing no soul. And a smirk so psychotic, like she would raise hell upon Empires. With no recollection of memory of her past, Raven Black finds herself among the Crows, engaging in their criminal way of living. The Crows accept a heavy mission and have to cross the Fold, the prize after all is one million kruge. Due to a massive eruption of never seen force before within the Fold, Raven landed in the hands of General Kirigan and a dark Prophecy haunts her dreams. Between Love and Friendship, Raven is in the middle of finding herself after discovering her unknown and never before seen power and fragments of her past. Her power is so unique and yet overshadowed by the Sun Summoner Alina Starkov that remained the center of attention, until Raven finds herself in a dangerous position and has to make crucial choices and act quick. Between a war of mind and heart, new found homes and families, and painful love, Raven has to find herself and the descent of her Bloodline while attempting to save whatever she holds dear and not be driven into the madness of power. ------------------------------- • Shadow and Bone Fan Fiction based on the Books & Series with a twist of course. I love the way you hated me part 1

Before the afternoon of their graduation, Mikasa tells Eren that she is more than done with it and suggests that he go to his house and make amends with him once and for all.
