this book is the result of a journey i never expected to take, one that began in the healing space of therapy. when i first walked into my therapists office, i wasn't sure how to express the storm of emotions swirling within me. talking felt impossible and understanding myself even more so. writing has always been my outlet, my way of processing emotions i couldn't speak out loud, so my therapist told me to write write what-ever came to mind, without judgement, without structure. and it was in that act of raw, unfiltered expression that this collection was born. these poems became my therapy, my way of navigating through pain, confusion, love, hope and healing. what started as scribbled thoughts and fragments became so much more. so thank you for choosing to read this book, for engaging with my vulnerability and for letting these words find their way into your own. i hope they resonate with you in ways that feel meaningful, whether they offer solace, inspiration or simply a sense of connection. this book would not exist without the power of expression and the importance of finding an outlet for our emotions. with love and thanks, C .E Jones

This is a place for me to put all the things I wish I said but I just couldn't. These are a way for me to "say" these things without actually saying them to the person I want to. I probably won't ever go back or read any of these because it's like revisiting a bad memory so don't expect much in terms of editing. Also I wouldn't consider this poetry but it is laid out that way. WARNING Talk of depression, suicide, anxiety, and self harm. Don't read if you don't like things like that and may get triggered. I don't mean to cause anyone problems of any sort, but these are the things I feel and can't help. Please keep negativity away as this is a sensitive subject for a lot of people. Thank you.
