How to Train Your Dragon: The Hybrid Chronicles

    Wings extended from my shoulder blades, dark silver scales gleaming in the moonlight. My tail provided perfect balance as I landed silently on one of the watchtowers, double-jointed legs absorbing the impact.

    That's when I saw him for the first time. A scrawny Viking boy, probably my age, sneaking through the village with a strange contraption strapped to his back. But there was something off about his movements - something that spoke to the dragon part of me. The way he unconsciously shifted his weight, how his steps were too light for a pure human. A hybrid, without a doubt, but one who had no idea what he was.

    The scales along my jawline prickled with interest. After years of solitude, had I finally found another of my kind?
