When your car breaks down in the middle of nowhere, you seek help at an old, creaking house-and step into a world you weren't meant to find. What starts as a simple favor to borrow tools quickly turns into a fight for survival-and an unexpected bond with a vampire.
So, this is my first go a writing 2nd person, which I usually hate. But, in this case, it felt right.
I should also note that my limited knowledge of vampire lore is based on solely on Twilight.

Innocent Darkness
Vampires, The undead creatures that lurk in the night. They feed on the life essence of the living. Typically in the form of blood from other creatures. From the most notable vampire, Dracula, to the least favorite vampire, Edward Cullen. Over the years they've changed and adopted to meld with culture of modern society. I've read almost every vampire book, seen the movies and watched the television shows. They all have a similar underlying theme among all of them. Girl crosses path with hot vampire guy, the hot vampire guy is some eternal brooding guy and then they fall in love. Sometimes they have to face some epic fight or battle of sorts, but end the end it's a love story between human girl and vampire guy. I wish I could say my story started in 2016 when that fantasy world became a reality. A strange man came into a convenience store I worked at and my whole world instantly changed. I was thrown into a world of blood, politics and learned the hard way that vampires are NOTHING like what they are depicted as in works of fiction.
