Plain, Jane

Jane was born on a Monday Afternoon, on July 21st 2021. She was a character I created to process a moment in my life where I first experienced a shutdown and felt so defeated.

Since then, I've recorded other, few moments of Jane and her thought processes, which simultaneously helped me emotionally process some parts of my life.

I would like to dedicate this book to God, and thank Him for granting me the ability to write (although not so amazingly, I am still grateful). I am grateful for these experiences, as they continue to shape me and allow me to look back at myself in hindsight and help me move forward without hating myself. As a lot of the time, Jane is indeed at fault.

There are times where I wish I could go back and give Jane compassion and comfort in those moments, but I realise now that God was actually with me all along.
