(The cover is just there in place of the actual one, which I'm working on.) 14 year old Alexis Stevens is definitely not prepared for the 8th grade. Not a bit. With her very much ragtag friend group, the popular girls group looming over her shoulder, her struggle in navigating having a crush (or two) for the first time, and her horribly bad luck with almost everything; she's definitely going to be on the bottom of the school hierarchy rungs, just barely holding on for the sake of her reputation and her social life altogether. She'll need the help of her friends to get past this year; and she'll have to face the past to figure out why her luck is so bad and how to get rid of it. Will she be able to handle what her mess of a life throws at her, or will she crack under all the stress? Don't know, you'll have to read it instead of poring over the description for hints... 🤠 (Art belongs to me. https://www.deviantart.com/that1kidatthebackk/art/GORETOBER-Heartbroken-1249274918 )

✨COMPLETED✨ I took a few steps before I stopped to face him again. "Jay?" I said, barely above a whisper. "Hmm?" "I love you. You know that right?" I asked, kind of unsure. "of course. Of course I do." He said, scrunching his eyebrows as if he doesn't understand why I would randomly say that. "I love you very much." I repeated, every bone in my body aching from this pain, this betrayal. What I'm doing, or going to do, is definitely some form of betrayal. But I don't have a choice, right? He needs to understand that I don't have a choice. Or do I? "I do too. But...Why are you saying it like that?" He asked, feeling a little anxious. "Like what?" I replied, praying to dear God he doesn't say something that'll make me cry. "Like you're saying goodbye." 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸 Alexis Pierce is just another high school clumsy story. She falls and trips over random stuff, says the weirdest words ever, but she is one of the smartest would-be detectives out there. One random day, she gets thrown into her school basement and almost dies. Then from there on out - her worst nightmares came to life one by one. She gets kidnapped and terrorized by people she would've never expected, she gets threatened in the worst way and in that journey - she discovers what true friendship and sacrifice meant. Join her on her journey of friendship, love, and sacrifice. A little crime here and there and a little love sprinkled on top.
