a short, 6-chapter, angsty story. This is essentially Nico keeping a short diary after the events of HoO. This is major cannon-divergence, so there will be no ToA. This story was written about a year ago, so I am making edits to the original as I put this out. You might cry. Be warned.

Sure, it was partially Nico's fault that he stayed overtime, but couldn't Will just give up on him already? He's weak, sick, and most of all, frustrated. And he wants to change out of this stupid tropical shirt. But will Will let him? No, he just has to stay put for the next third of his life! How unfair is that? And what happens when Nico realises Will may be a sunshine but even the Sun can't always be bright and happy? Oh and not to mention the growing crush the boys have on each other. Percy finds out about Nico's crush earlier than planned. And it's on neither of their terms. Until Percy gives him some good advice. Advice Nico takes to heart. But a demigod's life is never easy, and with a new prophecy and a new quest even darker forces are looming over the horizon, threatening to destroy the sunshine that Nico and another half-blood we all thought was gone have finally found. Placed during very beginning of Blood of Olympus/ between House of Hades and Blood of Olympus at the beginning. Then it switches to the end of Blood of Olympus. This is a solangelo story line. If you have not read Blood of Olympus, or do not ship solangelo, then I kindly ask you to reconsider your life choices. And then go do those things. I tried to stay true to the characters, I really truly did. If you're reading and you think I did something wrong, please let me know (but. you know. kindly.). Percico!! When Percy and Annabeth break up, Nico is the only one to see how much it's affecting Percy. When Percy locks himself in his cabin, Nico forces him to return to a normal lifestyle and helps him (try) to get better. Nico Di Angelo's school is taking the whole junior year on a trip to Greece. Following the no gender mingling school policy, Nico groups with his best buds Percy Jackson and Jason Grace. All is well and good before Will Solace joins their bubble. Nico gets a strange, tingly, ticklish feeling in his stomach when he's around Will. It doesn't help when they have to pair off to explore the Parthenon and Percy and Jason take off, leaving Nico alone with Will. It also doesn't help when the two boys decide to share a bed at the hotels.
