The world has never been so dark. Ever since they came, they have rampaged the streets, taken so many lives and changed the course of the world. The world is in ruins, and only a handful survive. Seren is one of those handful of people remaining. How she adapts from an aloof and reclusive 16 year old, to constantly having to watch her back, as this world around her become more dark and in despair. Even in the light of the day. This is dedicated to my greatest, forever loved childhood boy best friend and unrequited first love. Although we have grown very far apart, you are the inspiration behind my words for this novel, and I hope that one day we can reconcile and start afresh and return to the two peas in a pod we used to be. Little did she know, what started out the shooting lessons in the middle of the woods would turn into their worst nightmare. Bradley has to reveal some secrets along with Ella and he has to start using his brotherly love and instinct to survive. What happens when Ella discover the biggest secret the boys have.
