In the fae kingdom of Alandor, the princess; Lyra Faredell is forced to watch her brother and father torment and exploit the people of the kingdom. Having enough, she runs away into the unexplored Thornspire Peaks. But when she's hunted by a creature and saved by a beast of a man her world is changed forever. Lyra meets Drogo a dragon shifter, the last of his kind, and turns out, they're mates. With the mystery of what happened to the rest of his species and the burden of having to liberate her kingdom, Lyra and Drogo work together to find the truth and navigate their fated love.
This is a very steamy fantasy romance, and definitely NOT a slow burn. All characters and ideas belong to me, this is an original work.

You all know the old fairy-tale's where an evil and cruel dragon kidnaps the princess because of her beauty and then knights in shinning armour arrives to save her. After saving her they get the half of the kingdom and marry the princess and lives happily ever after.. But this story is very different... There was once were a beautiful, kind princess named Lydia who got engaged to a prince, but the princess wasn't in love with him at all. One day as she was sleeping peacefully in her bed with her window opened, a dragon named Lithon attacked the kingdom. In it's attack on the kingdom the dragon flew to the castle and was going to destroy it from pure hatred for the royal family, but then he saw the princess through her open window. The dragon fell for her beauty immediately, so he decided to kidnap her, it would also be the perfect revenge on the royal family. So the dragon took the princess to his place, the princess was of course not happy about that and she did freak out. She didn't wanted to live with a dragon! It's bad enough she's trapped with no way home in such a dangerous place, but when she comes across signs of a monster lurking somewhere on this uncharted isle, she comes to find that the worst of her nightmares have only just begun. because the thing that's been stalking her from the shadows as fangs and scales just like the creatures she fears the most, with intentions of keeping her trapped with it on the isle.
