Twisted Beauty

A twisted take on Beauty and the Beast, this romantic tale is told from the perspective of eighteen-year-old Meredith Shyler, a Hunter born to kill monsters. When her plan takes a turn for the worst, she finds herself at the mercy of her own enemies, who decide her sentence for her. She expects torture or a lifetime of solitude. What she doesn't expect is to be brought to a pocket realm, one torn away from civilization. There, she's surrounded by the creature's she's been made to hate, and finds that she has an unwanted cellmate that torments her every second.
Unsure of how to escape, she must plot a way to freedom while avoiding all the monsters that want to hurt her. As well as the man that she can't seem to avoid.
He's ruthless, but so is she. He's unforgivable, but so is she. He's her worst enemy, but she's not afraid. As she learns to live with her cellmate, she finds that he's not at all what she thought he would be. And that deep down, she's not who she thought she was, either.
