Kan and Aytisana Vinn-brother and sister, the youngest children of the Vinn clan, the most renowned warrior clan in the entire Karamys Valley, which despises magic. Everything changes when an ancient curse befalls Karamys. The chief Tar of the clan, Batas Vinn, loses his sanity, and no one knows how to break the ancient spell. The siblings decide to embark on a journey to find their father, who holds the key to lifting the curse. Their path leads them to the Vepr Mountains-a place rumored to be the dwelling of Death itself.
